My first wedding of the year on January 6th was Martin and Davina at Redworth Hall.
At the end of January I attended the Blackwell Grange wedding fayre.
February saw the weddings of Mark and Natalie at St Mary's Nunthorpe and Crathorne Hall....
....and Jonathan and Lesley - Anne and North Kilvington Church and The George Hotel, Piercebridge.
At the beginning of March I went to Focus On Imaging at the NEC Birmingham where I sourced some new albums and made sure that I am offering you the best products available in this country as in these difficult times I believe in supporting a British workforce who I believe produce albums of the same or even better quality than those from other countries.
The March weddings were Jonny and Kim at Arkengarthdale Church and The George Hotel, Piercebridge.....
....and Andy and Claire also at The George Hotel, Piercebridge.
On the 1st of April I attended the Solberge Hall wedding fayre with model Mel Reeves wearing a dress from Rocks And Roses, Make Up By Jo and flowers by Elise Flowers.
... and the day after I went to London to see the David Hockney exhibition at The Royal acadamy.
The April weddings were Keith and Elaine at Headlam Hall....
....Daniel and Lucy at Solberge Hall
....Scott and Yvonne at Simonstone Hall.....
.....Chris and Judy at Hornby Church and Hackforth Village Hall. I'm thrilled that I will also be photographing Judy's daughter's wedding in 2014.

May started with a very smiley bride Angela who married Craig at Croft Spa Hotel.

.... and then the couple who have recieved most views on my blog, Kevin and Kate at The Crab and Lobster.....
...and Duncan and Victoria at Thornton in Lonsdale Church and a new venue for me, the fabulous Leighton Hall.
Also in May I took some photographs for one of my local bridal shops, Rocks And Roses...
.... and a portrait session at Thorp Perrow.
Then it was time for a break and I went off to Paris to see to exhibitions of my other great love, Impressionist paintings.
Then back to our village just in time to celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Then it was on with the June weddings....and then the rains came !

This car was once owned by Elizabeth Arden.
Although it rained in the morning at Louise and Sam's wedding i cleared just long enough to get a few pictures outside before starting again. I'm thrilled to say that I will be photographing Louise's sister Lucy's wedding next year.
Sadly for Chris and Jennifer's wedding at Yorebridge House the rain never stopped but they were very brave and went outside for some lovely photographs.
On June 20th the weather brightened up for the arrival of the olympic flame in Thirsk.
Then the wedding of Helen and Matt at St Oswalds Church, Sowerby and Burn Hall
June also saw the second wedding fayre at Blackwell Grange....
And as Wimbledon started I discovered my young collie Ruskin is a big fan of tennis...
The beginning of July saw the wedding of Graham and Katy at Swinton Park...
....and then I took a week's break in The Algarve...
... and then returned to an improvement in the weather and the lovely wedding of Nick and Sarah in Hurworth...
Then we saw the start of The Olympics which I have to admit beforehand I really was not bothered about and found myself totally hooked ! Yorkshire did very well in the medal tables and local girl Nicola Wilson from Northallerton won gold in the the eventing.
On the same day as the start of The Olympics Stephen and Sonia were married at Easington Church with a reception at Crathorne Hall....
....and the day after Leon and Nicola were married at Beamish Hall.
Also in July I took most of the publicity shots for the new brochure at The George Hotel, Piercebridge.
August saw the weddings of Johnathan and Amanda at Bishopthorpe Church...

I wore my sparkly shoes and tonight I will be wearing them again for our village fancy dress party on a strictly come dancing theme.
