I scored over 4.9 and therefore made it to the final. There were 11 other photographers and sadly it wasn't my turn to win but to know that my couples were happy with my work and the service I provided is better than winning an award.

service. At every stage of the process from the first meeting to receiving our
wedding album she was very professional while at the same time related with us
on a personal level which made her very approachable and easy to get on with.
On the day she organised everybody but remained informal and captured some very
natural shots. All our photos exceeded our expectations and captured our big day
perfectly.
Amazing photographs with an excellent turn
around. We got to view our photos within
a week and a half of the wedding, with a sneak peak at a couple the day after
the wedding. Ruth is so professional,
she brought calm to our household the morning of the wedding and we hardly knew
that she was there the whole day. Ruth
was so patient with us and she was friendly and chatty with our guests. She knew the venues in advance and therefore
where to take the best photos which speeded up the posed photo part of the
day. We couldn't have wished for a

Ruth Mitchell is a fantastic photographer that
accommodates the clients every need. She has a very natural and relaxed feel to
the day itself and made ourselves and all of our guests very relaxed! The standard
of the finished wedding album is exquisite and the overall communication

Ruth was a total professional throughout the day
and took some amazing photographs. She made what was a very special day even
more special by presenting us with an album which was like a fairy story. There were so many beautiful photographs to
choose from that it was difficult to choose our favourites. We have our memories in our album to remind
us of that day for the rest of our lives.

Ruth produced some beautiful photos, each and everyone

clearly unaware that they were having their picture taken, which is exactly the

Ruth is friendly yet quietly firm, perfect for a
wedding photographer! She did a fantastic job of our wedding photographs and
many of my guests commented on how good she was. My sister has even booked Ruth
as her wedding photographer! Most of all, she is a nice, normal person which
cannot be said for all wedding photographers!
Very cooperative to our needs on the day. Very

We absolutely love our photos, they are very natural
and really capture the fun part of the day. Ruth got so many of the details of
the day. Ruth was amazing, my husband was very very nervous and usually doesn't

I had to organise my wedding in Yorkshire from
hundreds of miles away in Gloucestershire. Ruth was brilliant from first
contact and incredibly friendly. It was an easy decision to make to hire her
for our wedding day. She was fantastic on the wedding day, taking pictures in
the background, making everyone feeling at ease and taking photos of every
detail so we could remember everything from our special day. When the photos
arrived we were so pleased, we loved every one. They were so natural and really
captured the mood of the day, everyone laughing and smiling like they didn't
even know the camera was there. Ruth also did lots of wonderful formal shots
and some of us in the countryside which really captured why we chose the Dales for our
wedding. The photos were perfect and will be cherished forever. I would
recommend Ruth to anyone wanting natural wedding photos that capture both the

Ruth's photographs always capture the moment. When we spotted her work whilst visiting a
potential wedding venue (Simonstone Hall, Hawes) we knew Ruth would be ideal
for our Special Day. We were married at Hipping Hall, Kirkby Lonsdale over
70miles away from where Ruth lives but she still visited the venue before the
big day. She is a pleasure to work with and deserves to win.
